Forty-five Congressmen urged in a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk that the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations with Canada be used to address expand agricultural trade for U.S. poultry and dairy, according to the National Chicken Council.
The letter followed a public hearing held by Kirk’s office on the issue of including Canada in the TPP negotiations. Bill Roenigk, senior vice president of the National Chicken Council, presented at the hearing a joint statement by NCC and the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council. Read More
