Artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to create many things that are beneficial, but it can also be used in a way that would be harmful for the animal agriculture industry.
Kristin King, founder and CEO of AnzenSage, said one of her biggest concerns in this regard is the creation of deepfake videos, or AI-generated videos of situations that never happened. She told attendees of the Animal Agriculture Alliance Stakeholders Summit on May 7 in Kansas City, Missouri, that she expects to see more deepfake videos that portray fabricated instances of animal abuse or neglect.
