June 7-8, 2021 - Pismo Beach, CA

EVENT INFORMATION

The California Poultry Federation (CPF) Summer Board Meeting and Golf Tournament will be held on June 7-8, 2021 at The Cliffs Resort & Spa in Pismo Beach, CA. While the CPF Executive Committee approved the meeting, they urged the CPF staff to plan for an event that meets the guidelines in place by the CDC and the local county (San Luis Obispo) health department.

As you know, this is one of CPF’s most popular meetings. As in past years, a golf tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 7 at the Avila Beach Golf Resort., golf awards, reception and dinner will be held outside near the Cliffs Hotel Waterfall Terrace. Wine, beer, and soft drinks will be served. Dinner will be served with COVID regulations. There will be lights and heaters provided around the reception and dinner areas.

Only board members will be allowed into the indoor meeting on Tuesday, June 8. Social distancing, masks and temperature checks will be required. Guest speakers will be offered either zoom or in-person presentations. We will provide zoom to anyone else interested in the meeting so they can view and participate from their hotel rooms or from home.

To offset the costs of these events, we always ask producers and allied members to sponsor these activities. Event sponsorship is $750. Golf tournament fee is $150 per golfer. All sponsors will receive publicity each week in the CPF Headline News e-newsletter with a listing of your company, along with your company name on posters at all Summer events. Attached is a list of last year’s sponsors.

Monday, June 7th

9:00 a.m. – Golf Tournament – Avila Beach Resort

5:30 p.m. – Outdoor Reception – Cliffs Resort Waterfall Terrace


Tuesday, June 8th

8:00 a.m. Breakfast – Cliffs Resort Waterfall Terrace

8:45 a.m. – Board Meeting (Only board members will be allowed into the indoor meeting. Social distancing, masks and temperature checks will be required. Zoom will be available to anyone who would like to participate in the meeting.)

Hotel Registration deadline for conference rate is May 6, 2021. Any rooms booked after May 6, 2021 will be billed at the regular hotel rate. Please check with the hotel for the regular hotel rate.
