On April 15, 2020, Anita, the wife of Hemanta Agarwala passed away.
Anita was born in 1966 in Assam, a state in northeast India. In India she earned a degree in Economics. In 1991 she married Hemanta and moved to the United States.
She wanted to further her education and learned a BS degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix. Anita worked for seven years for the County of Sacramento. In 2008 the Agarwala’s purchased Alpha Poultry & Livestock Inc. in Turlock, CA. Anita served as the CFO. Anita enjoyed painting, traveling, cooking and playing the harmonium. She is survived by their son Aditya, 26, two brothers and her mother and father. The California Poultry Federation and its members send sincere condolences to the Agarwala Family.
