Mike Altomare and Stuart Rawling of Agrecom, Inc. lobbied state officials in Sacramento Wednesday with CPF President Bill Mattos. Lobbyist Brian Rees joined them for both lunch and dinner with elected officials. The Lobby Day was purchased by Agrecom at the Annual Meeting in Monterey last year. It will be one of the auction items again this fall.
The group visited with CDFA Secretary Karen Ross and State Veterinarian Annette Jones; Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria (Ag Chair), Assemblyman Greg Wallis (late night tour of inside the Capitol), Senator Marie Alvarado-Gill, Majority Leader Cecelia Aguiar-Curry, Assemblyman Juan Alanis and Minority Leader James Gallagher.
The group enjoyed lunch at Prelude restaurant and dinner and Ella, one of Sacramento’s best dinner spots.
