Dr. Simone Stoute, CAHFS Turlock Branch Chief, given Scientist of the Year Award at PEPA annual convention

At the recent Pacific Egg and Poultry (PEPA) in Hawaii, Dr. Simone Stoute, Branch Chief Avian Diagnostician California Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS), was announced as the recipient of the PEPA Scientist of the Year Award. Accepting the award on Dr. Stoute’s behalf was Dr. Mark Bland. Dr. Bland praised Dr. Stoute’s work, noting that she has an excellent reputation for her diagnostic acumen, is a leader in the lab and recognized by industry as a highly effective communicator.
