Editor’s Note: Foster Farms issued the following statement after discussions with the Merced County Health Dept., CDFA, USDA and others. Foster Farms had been testing the entire Livingston processing plant for at least two weeks before this announcement. The rates of positive cases were less than 1 percent, very low by Central Valley and California standards.
