Ken and Charlotte Mitchell, turkey farmers from Elk Grove, won the West’s Family Environmental and Sustainability Award at the International Poultry Exposition last week. Their sons, Austin and Jason, joined them in Atlanta; they left for Disney World right after visiting the show with the other 20,000 poultry men, women and exhibitors in attendance.
