Brazil sent its very first poultry exports to Mexico last Wednesday, said Francisco Turra, president ofthe Brazilian Poultry Union(Ubabef), during a conference held inSão Paulo. The Brazil-based company Seara, which is part of JBS SA, led the exports. Last July, Mexico opened a quota for Brazil to import 300,000 tons of poultry products free of taxes, according to Brazilian news site DCI.com.br.
