Foster Farms apologizes in newspaper ads

Since Foster Farms was implicated in the outbreak of human salmonellosis tied to its products by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the poultry giant has attempted to meet much of the criticism proactively and apologetically. Its latest effort to move forward from the illness that affected 338 cases in 20 states, the California-based processor has apologized through a series of full-page ads in major daily newspapers throughout California, Oregon and Washington, according to a Foster Farms spokesman.  Read More
