Industry efforts to reduce salmonella

The Partnership for Food Safety Education, along with the National Chicken Council, want everyone to enjoy a summer without Salmonella. Infections from Salmonella spike in the summer and new research from UC Davis reveals consumers are not consistent in following the safe food handling practices at home that can reduce risk of Salmonella.

To help consumers Fight BAC!® the Partnership has created new “Summer Without Salmonella” action tools. Download postcards for social media sharing, and flyers to print or link to online. With July 4th just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to share these tips for food poisoning prevention.
