For the second year in a row, the National Turkey Federation (NTF) is continuing its multi-city tour to bridge the distance from ranch to table for chefs, registered dietitians and food bloggers. This year, the tour stops in San Francisco and three other cities. California ranks 7th out of the top 10 turkey producing states in the U.S. Each year, nearly 15 million turkeys are produced in California, all by family-run ranches and processors. The San Francisco turkey inspiration event is set for Tuesday, May 23rd at Parties That Cook, located in the North Beach area.
