NCC to testify next week on Renewable Fuel Standard

The National Chicken Council is slated to testify next week before the Energy and Power Subcommittee of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.  Subcommittee Chairman Ed Whitfield (R-KY) announced this week that the subcommittee will hold a two-day hearing next week entitled “Overview of the Renewable Fuel Standard:  Stakeholder Perspectives.”  Bill Roenigk, former National Chicken Council senior vice president and chief economist, and now a NCC consultant, will testify on behalf of NCC.
