USPOULTRY and the USPOULTRY Foundation announce the completion of a funded research project at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center in Wooster, Ohio, in which researchers looked at the role of vitamin D in fighting coccidiosis in turkeys. The research project has been designated as the Virgil H. Cooper Turkey Fund 2014 award and is part of the Association’s comprehensive research program encompassing all phases of poultry and egg production and processing.
