Shirley Helfand, wife of Stuart Helfand, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2019. The Helfands are member/growers of the Squab Producers of California. Shirley and Stuart were married 57 years and have 3 sons and 12 grandchildren. In addition to working along side her husband in the squab business, she worked for the California Franchise Tax Board for 43 years. Shirley was born October 9, 1936, grew up in Auburn, CA and attended Placer High School. Our condolences go out to the Helfand Family.
