The USDA has released details of the $12 billion trade aid package for farmers which could start paying producers as early as mid-September. U.S. Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue says farmers have supported the President in his defense of the economy, but they’ve been the tip of the spear in trade disputes.  “It’s a fact they cannot pay their bills with simple patriotism.  The programs that we’re announcing today will allow time for the President to strike long-lasting trade deals that benefit our entire economy.”  Read more
